Reliable inspection of printed circuit boards, before the defect moves on.
Component assembly, solder joints and component placement on printed circuit boards are captured optically and assessed automatically with a CamBox: a compact unit combining camera, lighting and local computing power. The focus is on bent connector pins, with inward-bent pins considered particularly critical, as well as correct assembly of the resistors and correct placement and orientation of the electrolytic capacitors. The system reliably distinguishes up to 10 different PCB variants, so deviations are detected before defective boards reach downstream production steps.
Compact inspection cell directly on the line

The CamBox combines camera, lighting and evaluation in a compact unit that can be integrated directly into the line: without a separate inspection tunnel.
Detecting defects before they become expensive
Critical assembly defects such as inward-bent connector pins or misplaced electrolytic capacitors are detected before the board reaches downstream production steps. Because up to 10 PCB variants are reliably distinguished, the inspection remains robust even with frequent variant changes.
