vHUBInterfaces

The data hub between VIVALDI and your IT landscape.

vHUB makes VIVALDI connectable: standardised and custom interfaces link the shared database with the customer's existing production and IT landscape.

Standardised where possible: custom where necessary

vHUB connects VIVALDI with PLCs and machine controls, MES, ERP, CAQ/QMS as well as logistics and material flow systems. Reusable interfaces are available for recurring standard tasks; for specific customer requirements, custom connections are developed. Data exchange is bidirectional: information from customer or production systems can be imported into VIVALDI, and VIVALDI data can be passed back to other systems.

This means Vivaldi does not stand in isolation alongside the existing system landscape but becomes part of it: duplicate data maintenance and manual data transfer can be reduced, while customer-specific machine and system landscapes continue to be taken into account.

Typical data objects

What vHUB moves

  • Order and master data
  • Serial numbers, part and material data
  • Inspection results, defects and images
  • Process and machine parameters
  • Events, statuses and alarms
  • Quality decisions, blocks and releases, where defined for the interface
To be clarified in the project

Typical integration questions

These questions determine the scope and effort of a vHUB integration.

01

Leading source

Which source is leading for master data, orders and serial numbers?

02

Required data

Which production and quality data needs to be available in VIVALDI?

03

Feedback to systems

Which information needs to be passed back to MES, ERP, CAQ/QMS or logistics systems?

04

Error handling

How are communication errors, retries and unprocessable data handled?

Business value

What vHUB makes possible

  • VIVALDI integrates into existing system landscapes instead of standing in isolation alongside them
  • Less duplicate maintenance and manual transfer of production and quality data
  • Standardised integration mechanisms speed up recurring tasks
  • Custom connections take customer-specific machine and system landscapes into account
  • Bidirectional exchange supports end-to-end processes between the shop floor and enterprise systems
