Material movements that never lose sight of the quality status.
vLOG ensures that material movements are not viewed in isolation from the quality status, but are embedded in the production process as traceable, rule-based events.
More than a movement
In production-related logistics processes, a mere change of location is not enough: what matters is whether the right part, the right batch or the right lot arrives at the right place, and whether the quality status permits this movement at all. vLOG manages containers, storage locations, stock transfers and outgoing goods, and reports incorrect, missing or impermissible movements.
If an item, part or container is blocked via vCHECK or vKI, vLOG takes this status into account during stock transfer, packing and shipping: material flow and quality are therefore not managed separately, but together.
Container, stock and workflow control
- Container and package management, stock transfers and production-related movements
- Stock overview and storage location management
- Freely definable workflows for material and goods flow
- Identification via barcode, QR code, DataMatrix code, RFID or manual entry
- Blocks and releases from vCHECK or vKI are taken into account in the material flow

Material flow at a reference customer in China
At a reference customer in China, vLOG works closely with vCHECK and vMOBILE: the quality status from inspection directly controls how containers are processed further, packed or blocked, captured on mobile devices and synchronised with the central server in real time.
What vLOG changes day to day
- Less time spent searching thanks to traceable stock and movement data
- Prevention of packing errors through part-specific container assignment
- Blocks and releases are automatically taken into account in the material flow
- Digital, part-level packing lists instead of manual compilation
- Basis for analysing stock and movements in vDASH
